Bitcoin Loxion – BitcoinLoxion was founded by Thulisa Sikolpati, a passionate advocate for financial empowerment and community resilience. Her vision is to create a future where individuals in Khayelitsha can break free from financial dependency and build sustainable, Bitcoin-driven opportunities.

We believe Bitcoin is not just for the wealthy or a tool for speculation—it’s a path to financial freedom that allows individuals to control their hard-earned money without reliance on traditional systems.

Bitcoin Ekasi – Bitcoin Ekasi is based in Mossel Bay, South Africa. The project aims to build a Bitcoin circular economy modeled after (and inspired by) Bitcoin Beach in El Zonte, El Salvador.
Bitcoin Ekasi is an extension of The Surfer Kids Non-Profit. The Surfer Kids is a registered non-profit organization, founded in 2010. The NPO is 100% donation-based and works to create youth-empowerment in an impoverished South African township.
Bitcoin Ekasi utilizes The Surfer Kids NPO as a well established and trusted community platform through which to create a Bitcoin circular economy by, first and foremost, paying ALL staff salaries 100% in Bitcoin only and, simultaneously, on-boarding shops in the township to accept Bitcoin as payment, so that coaches can spend salaries without converting to ZAR.
Bitcoin Plettenberg Bay – a growing community of passionate Bitcoiners based in Plettenberg Bay. Volunteers, freedom-lovers, and economic pioneers — their mission is to build a local circular economy where Bitcoin isn’t just held, but spent. They help onboard businesses to accept Bitcoin and encourage locals and visitors to support them by paying with sats.
Bitcoin Sedgefield – bitcoin community residing in and around the town of Sedgefield in the Garden Route of South Africa.
There is a growing number of bitcoin users world wide, and South Africa has a high amount of people who use bitcoin regularly. The Bitcoin Sedgefield community was started to provide free bitcoin support, information and education to people in the area. The mission to assisting businesses in the area so that they are able to accept bitcoin payments as an additional way for customers to pay for goods and services.
